An estate agency in Aldeburgh-based has joined forces with an existing holiday lettings firm operating in Suffolk.

Suffolk Coastal will maintain its presence in Aldeburgh office high street – and is launching a new Southwold office at Station Yard in Blyth Road after taking Air Manage Suffolk – a holiday lets management company – in-house.

It means that the company now offers holiday tenancies and holiday home management for local holiday lets and serviced apartments – as well as short- and long-term lets, and sales.

Nine staff will work across the combined Suffolk Coastal and Air Manage brands.

Suffolk Coastal has taken up the brand rights to Air Manage Suffolk while the previous licence holders – who have operated under the brand for five years – move forward this month under a new name – Stay In Suffolk.

This has enabled Suffolk Coastal to bring in a new team.

Along with holidaymakers, Air Manage Suffolk will be targeting an influx of Sizewell C workers seeking serviced apartments and short-term accommodation.

The aim will be to enhance the offer for those working long hours and complicated shift patterns, said the company.

Suffolk Coastal managing director, Tim Day, said: “We are thrilled to have finalised this deal which not only strengthens our business but also enables us to provide our clients with a comprehensive range of services – including sales, long-term lettings, holiday lettings and serviced apartments.

“The growing trend for short-term holiday lets or short breaks shows no sign of slowing down, so by combining bespoke rental agreements with traditional lettings, we can deliver an exclusive service that meets the needs of property owners as well as guests.

“It’s an exciting time, and we’re thrilled to be meeting these ever-changing needs.”

Suffolk Coastal and Air Manage Suffolk will operate alongside each other.
