Westcoast Properties has completed the acquisition of City Property Lets, a well-regarded rental and student letting business located on Gloucester Road in Bishopston, Bristol.

City Property Lets will now rebrand, marking the opening of Westcoast Properties’ sixth branch, and the company’s second acquisition this year.

Nick Webber and Lindsay Pickles, company directors, issued a joint statement: “Expanding our network with this acquisition is a fantastic step, bringing our sixth high street branch to life.”

The pair reflected on how the new Gloucester Road branch complements their existing office nearby: “Our last branch opening was at the top of Gloucester Road in Patchway, so it’s fantastic to now have a branch further down the Gloucester Road. Between the two, we will be able to offer a more personal and convenient service to Customers in the area.”

This latest expansion now sees the agency managing well in excess of 1,000 properties, further strengthening its position as one of the largest independent letting agents in Bristol and Somerset.

Susan Powell, who ran the portfolio for many years, commented, “Having built City Property Lets Ltd from its inception in 1996, it was very important to me that the business was passed to caring professionals whom I found in Nick and Lindsay.

“I am confident they will continue to deliver the same personal and dedicated service that has been central to City Property Lets ethos. I look forward to watching the success of their business and their continuing care of the Client landlords and tenants.”
