One of the most bitter and genuine long-running feuds in British boxing will finally be settled in north London this weekend in a middleweight grudge match for the ages that was originally scheduled to take place all the way back in October 2022, only to be shelved at short notice after Benn failed two voluntary drugs tests.

But having always denied any wrongdoing and immediately vowed to clear his name, his provisional suspension was lifted back in November and now he has his sights firmly set on springing an upset as he jumps up two divisions from welterweight and attempts to kick-start his stalled career with an almighty bang.

Much of the conversation around this all-British bout has also been focused on the financial aspect and exactly how much both men stand to earn from a showdown that has got the whole boxing world talking.

How much will Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn be paid for fight?

As always in boxing, the exact prize money on offer for both fighters on Saturday night has not been officially disclosed.

However, Eubank Jr’s promoter, BOXXER chief Ben Shalom, claimed back in December that they had successfully negotiated a 55-45 per cent split in his fighter’s favour.

With a reported total purse of up to £18million, that would see Eubank Jr take home around a cool £10m, while approximately £8m would be claimed by Benn.

Eubank Jr publicly rubbished claims from Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn of a 60-40 split agreement at a pre-fight press conference held back in February.
