Zoopla has acquired newhomesforsale.co.uk as part of its expansion in the new-build sector.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see Zoopla take full ownership of the platform, which works with more than 200 property developer clients, markets around 2,500 active developments and connects over one million prospective buyers with new build homes each year.

The acquisition follows a broader push by Zoopla to strengthen its position in the new homes market, including recent partnerships with housebuilders Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Homes.

Zoopla says it has invested in its new homes platform to support housebuilders in growing reservations and sales. This includes enhancements to its new homes search experience, improved visibility of new developments, affordability tools, and new AI powered capabilities in campaign optimisation and audience matching.

Following completion, newhomesforsale.co.uk will continue to operate as a standalone brand and website with its existing leadership team, retaining its specialist focus and ensuring continuity for its customers and home buyers supported by Zoopla’s proprietary audience data and AI-driven product investment.

Paul Whitehead, CEO of Zoopla, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome the team at newhomesforsale.co.uk to Zoopla. They have built a respected and highly specialised business that consistently delivers high-intent leads, strong conversion rates and strong ROI for home builders.

“Combined with Zoopla’s proprietary audiences and AI-driven product innovation, we are well positioned to deliver a stronger and more efficient new homes marketing proposition for developers of all sizes.

“This acquisition is a natural next step in our strategy. Our recent partnerships with Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon demonstrate the progress we have made and the value we deliver. The addition of newhomesforsale.co.uk will strengthen our offer and deepen our relationships with home builders across the UK.”
