The Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has said Britain needs to “leave the European Courts of Human Rights (ECHR) and he also blasted that the taxpayer has had enough of hearing it.

Farage blasted Sir Keir Starmer and the French President Emmanuelle Macron as they are both “colluding” with each other as they clearly support the mass migrant invasion crossing the English Channel.

Farage said, “We need to leave the EHCR … no ifs, no buts.”

He said that “despite the £800million we’ve given the French, even as we speak, there are French naval vessels escorting these (small) boats across to a 12-mile line.”

Farage said from there “they will be picked up by the border force or our volunteers at the RNLI when the border force can’t cope”.

“And now what happens is the French give them all life jackets and when they’re picked up by the border force, the border force give the life jackets back to the French so they can re-use them on the next journey,” Farage added.

“We are literally witnessing two governments colluding in their support of criminal activity.”

Farage sent a warning, that if he becomes the UK’s next Prime Minister the illegal migrants “will be detained and deported and never, ever allowed to stay, period.

That is our big message from today,” he warned.

Piers Pottinger said on Tuesday that he backs Farage’s “no nonsense” plan to tackle the illegal migrants.

The political commentator told GB News that Farage is correct to leave the ECHR and to then withdraw from the Human Rights Act, as this is what “the majority of the electorate want to hear.

Farage wrote, “No longer will these malign influences be allowed to frustrate deportations. The planes will take off, and plenty of them at that.

“The time has come to put this country first. This is all a question of priorities. Is Keir Starmer on the side of the British people, national security and protecting women and girls – or is he on the side of outdated international treaties and human rights lawyers?

GB News host asked Pottinger is Farage is “speaking the language that people want to hear”, Pottinger replied, “Yes, absolutely. This plan is no ifs, no buts, it is radical, but it’s absolutely crystal clear what he’s going to do.

“He is saying what the bulk of the majority of the electorate want to see, and that’s no nonsense and stopping this once and for all.”

Pottinger then warned, “There are questions about the new British Rights Bill he’s thinking of bringing in. This isn’t a new idea, Dominic Raab tried it and failed to bring it in because of technical legal issues.

And there’s no doubt that there are one or two aspects of what Nigel Farage is talking about that needs clarification and also needs work on to make sure it doesn’t immediately come up against other legal hurdles.
