Industry heavyweight Greystar is leading the nominations for the inaugural BTR360 Awards.

The investor-developer has been shortlisted in six categories for the awards, which recognise excellence across the build-to-rent (BTR) sector.

Greystar has been shortlisted in the categories of BTR Developer of the Year, BTR Operator of the Year, Excellence within BTR and the Social Impact Award. It has also received two nominations for BTR Scheme of the Year: one for its Brunel Street Works development in Canning Town, east London, and another for Bloom Nine Elms in Wandsworth, south west London.

Other BTR specialists to receive multiple nominations include Moda Living, which has been shortlisted for BTR Developer of the Year, BTR Operator of the Year, BTR Scheme of the Year and the Social Impact Award.

Also receiving four nominations is Get Living, which has been shortlisted for BTR Developer of the Year, BTR Operator of the Year, BTR Scheme of the Year and the Social Impact Award. Last year, it continued to develop East Village, the scheme located on the site of the Athlete’s Village for the 2012 London Olympic Games in Straford, east London. New developments included Portlands Place which has added 524 new BTR homes to the heart of East Village.

Another company in the running for an award is Utopi, which has been nominated for the Technology Innovation in BTR Award. Utopi’s technology platform tracks energy usage in multi-tenanted properties and helps asset managers reduce and minimise carbon emissions and deliver on their ESG goals.

The full shortlist can be read here.

The winners will be announced at the BTR360 Conference, Showcase & Awards on 10 October at 30 Euston Square in London.
