Fine & Country has announced the launch of two new licences covering Merseyside and North Cheshire and West Lancashire and Wigan, further strengthening the brand’s presence across the North West.

The licences will be led by Dave Roberts, an experienced estate agent who has operated Belvoir branches in St Helens, Haydock and Wigan since 2008. Both Belvoir and Fine & Country are part of The Property Franchise Group (TPFG), and this collaboration marks a new chapter of strategic growth between the two brands. The new Fine & Country operates from the group’s newly relocated St Helens office.

“We’ve been looking for the right way to expand into the premium market, and Fine & Country provides that opportunity,” said Roberts. “We already have a successful, award-winning business, but the Fine & Country proposition allows us to reach new audiences and deliver an enhanced service for clients in the upper quartile of the market.”

Roberts’ existing business is well-established, completing over 350 property transactions last year and earning Belvoir’s Sales Office of the Year Award for five consecutive years. His offices in St Helens, Haydock and Wigan employ a team of eight experienced sales professionals, supported by in-house mortgage advice and a family-run management structure.

The new Fine & Country licences will cover an extensive and diverse territory spanning Liverpool, Warrington, St Helens, Wigan, and rural parts of West Lancashire and North Cheshire, an area home to more than 1.5 million residents and approximately 750,000 homes.

“The local market has seen a 4.7% rise in property prices over the past 12 months, which is healthy compared to the wider North West region,” explained Roberts. “While the premium end of the market has been relatively stable, we see real potential for growth. The region offers everything from waterfront city apartments and executive residences to beautiful country homes, and the Fine & Country brand is ideally placed to showcase these properties to local and international buyers.”

He continued: “We’re truly excited to combine our established core business, which already benefits from deep local expertise and strong client relationships, with Fine & Country’s international reach and award-winning marketing. Together, this creates a unique synergy that will allow us to deliver outstanding results and set new standards in the premium property market.”

Jonathan Handford, interim managing director of Fine & Country, added: “Dave and his team have built one of the most successful sales operations in the Belvoir network, and their professionalism, experience, and local knowledge make them the perfect partners to introduce Fine & Country across Merseyside, North Cheshire, West Lancs and Wigan. With their proven track record and commitment to excellence, I’m confident they will establish Fine & Country as the leading premium agency in the region.”
