Wm. Sykes & Son, Holmfirth’s longest established independent estate agents and auctioneers, has agreed a deal to continue as Huddersfield Football Club’s Associate Partner for the 2025/26 season, it has been announced.

The estate agency, established in 1866, operates branches in Holmfirth and Slaithwaite, and views its partnership with the Sky Bet League One football club as a key element of its broader marketing strategy to engage with the local community.

Wm Sykes managing partner, Guy Davis, commented: “We are delighted to join forces again with Huddersfield Town Football Club for the 2025/2026 season.

“As the local estate agent trusted for generations and boasting over 150 years’ worth of local estate agency history, we are the estate of choice in the Huddersfield area.

“Our highly reputable and much-admired brand fits with the strengths and forward thinking positive changes at Huddersfield Town Football Club

“To celebrate the partnership, Wm Sykes are offering a 10% discount on selling fees for all 2025/26 Season Card Holders. Call our branches to take advantage of this offer.”

Huddersfield Town business development manager, Dan Wilczynski, added: “We’re delighted to be renewing our Associate Partnership with WM Sykes and continuing our relationship with Guy Davis and Rob Dixon and their team.

“Over the course of the partnership, WM Sykes has seen fantastic results from their association with Huddersfield Town AFC, using the platform to strengthen their profile across the region and connect with our fanbase and business community.

“As a proud local firm with deep roots in Huddersfield, their story and values align perfectly with the Club, and we’re excited to continue to build on that success together.”
