A former bodybuilding champion has launched a new estate agency in Chester.
The new company, which will also act as a property development consultancy, has been set-up by Gaby La Delfa, a former UK Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (UKBFF) Champion, having won the North West Qualifier in 2015.
“One of the biggest things I’ve taken from my time as a bodybuilder are the principles of dedication, commitment and motivation. I now have these running through my whole life and especially my business,” said La Delfa. “I never expected to do as well as I did at bodybuilding but it proved to me that anything is possible with hard work and consistency.”
La Delfa, a mum-of-two, originally took up bodybuilding in 2012, but is now retired from the sport, and firmly focussed on building up her business, rather than her muscles.
She continued: “Bodybuilding takes a lot of time and I just can’t do it with two small children and with running a new business, but I would like to return to weight lifting one day when my children are older and my business is established.”
As well as her background in bodybuilding, La Delfa has more than 20 years experience in the property industry, having built-up a buy-to-let portfolio, as well as operated a property development business in Chester for the past 16 years.
Reflecting on her new business, La Delfa Estates, which is located in Garden Lane, Chester, she added: “I’m thrilled to have officially launched La Delfa Estates and want to thank everyone who came to the event last night. It was great to receive so much support.
“I love everything about property and helping people to find whatever they are looking for.
“Whether it’s a young couple looking for their first home, a family looking to upscale or an investor looking to get into the property development market, I just love working with clients and helping them to realise their dream.”
