Terence McHatton,

Terence McHatton, a former director at Peter Alan, part of the Connells Group, has opened a new estate agency in the seaside town of Porthcawl in South Wales.

Having spent the last decade of his career as a director at Peter Alan, McHatton decided the time was right to set-up his own business.

“It felt like the logical thing to do,” he said. “I have always believed in the high street and love every aspect of the property industry.”

“By creating McHattons Ltd it gives me the opportunity to work hands on in both sales and lettings again after many years being behind the scenes,” he continued.

McHatton says that he actively looking to expand the new estate agency business in Porthcawl and beyond and is seeking the “right opportunity” to acquire an already established company.

He added: “Our industry is built on relationships and customer service and there is no doubt that the high street plays a pivotal role in both so once we have the foundations settled in Porthcawl we will embark on the exciting journey of our next office.”
