An experienced estate agent has secured major investment following the launch of his latest property company.
Simon Taylor, a former Purplebricks Local Property Expert, launched Empty Property Hunters almost a year ago, but is now eyeing significant growth after securing funding from The Harkalm Group, a long-established property investment company.
The fresh funds has enabled Taylor to announce a £10m joint venture fund dedicated to acquiring and revitalizing long-term empty residential properties in 2025.
This initial investment will be strategically deployed across technology, research, expanding the firm’s acquisitions team, and, most importantly, property purchases, strengthening its mission to bring empty homes back into use, according to Taylor.
He commented: “We are thrilled to partner with such a well-respected property company that shares our vision to help address the empty homes crisis across the UK. This collaboration allows us to accelerate our efforts and make a real impact in the residential sector.”
Adam Harvey, CEO of Harkalm Group, added: “The impressive team Simon has assembled is a testament to their expertise and commitment and we are excited to work alongside them.”
