Robert Price

Belvoir has confirmed the resale of its Ipswich office to existing franchise owner Robert Price, who also operates the Belvoir Cambridge and Belvoir Huntingdon offices.

The acquisition brings Price’s total number of Belvoir territories to three. The company said the transaction forms part of its franchise resale programme.

The Ipswich office has been acquired with its existing premises and staff remaining in place to maintain continuity for clients and landlords during the transition.

Price said: “We have looked at the Ipswich office previously and now seemed like the right time. Our other offices are well established, and we had the capacity to grow. Ipswich stood out as a strong opportunity to build on an already successful operation.”

The addition of Ipswich also supports Price’s wider growth strategy, particularly in sales.

“Belvoir Ipswich has a successful sales team and adding this to our current business is an important step in helping us grow sales across all three offices,” he said.

Price continued: “We’ve been through the process of integrating another office before, and we’re now seeing significant growth in Cambridge. We hope to replicate some of that success in Ipswich too.

“While some change is inevitable, particularly in light of new government legislation, our immediate focus is to settle the team. We’ll also review processes to see what we can learn and apply across the wider business, as well as identifying opportunities to further improve the Ipswich office.”

Commenting on the resale, Ellie Hall, group MD of Belvoir, said: “It’s fantastic to see Rob expand his Belvoir portfolio with the acquisition of Ipswich. He has already built two very successful offices in Cambridge and Huntingdon, and his commitment to service, systems and people makes him ideally placed to take the Ipswich business forward. Resales like this highlight the strength of the Belvoir network and the opportunities available to experienced Franchise Owners.”
