With the 25% tariff on imported EVs already raising prices and the federal tax credit set to vanish on September 30, automakers are dangling some of their best offers yet. If you’re thinking about leasing a new EV, jump on it. From SUVs to luxury vehicles, here are some of the top September EV lease deals spotted by our friends at CarsDirect.

Honda-Prologue

2025 Honda Prologue lease from $0/month

The 2025 Honda Prologue is serving up what might be the deal of the year: a One Pay Lease you won’t see splashed across ads. The Prologue EX is now offered at $3,799 for 24 months and 10,000 miles a year – a 20% drop from August’s $4,800 price.

Because it’s a One Pay lease, there are no monthly payments — you prepay up front. The deal runs through September 30 in select states and includes either a loyalty discount or a conquest bonus if you’re switching from a competitor.

Honda has included $20,300 in lease cash, making this the best SUV lease around. That works out to an effective cost of just $158 a month. With EV incentives expiring at the end of the month, odds are this won’t be topped.

The price is available in CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, PA, RI, VA, VT, WA, and WV. Some dealers may not even know about this offer, so it’s worth asking around.

Volkswagen-ID.4-lease

2025 Volkswagen ID.4 lease from $129/month

The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro RWD just got a jaw-dropping lease deal. Its effective monthly cost has dropped by $264, bringing the payment down to just $129 a month for 24 months (10,000 miles a year) with only $2,499 due at signing. That works out to an effective monthly cost of only $233.

The lease rate itself has slid from about 1% to basically 0%. On top of that, Volkswagen is offering up to $9,250 in lease cash, depending on which trim you choose. Even at the low end, you’re still looking at $7,500 in lease cash.

This particular Pro RWD deal is available in California, Arizona, and Nevada through September 30 — so if you’re eyeing an ID.4, now’s the time to move.

Hyundai Ioniq 9 review

2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 lease from $299/month

The 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 is still one of the best SUV lease deals around. With a monthly payment of $299, $4,999 due at signing for a 36-month lease, and 10,000 miles a year, it has an effective cost of only $438 per month. Lease deals vary according to region; this one is for Southern California.

The big wins for the 3-row IONIQ 9 are a $14,000 lease cash offer and a 67% residual value. Prices were cut a few months ago by 26%, an all-time low. There’s a good chance prices could go up after the deal ends on September 30, when the federal tax credit goes the way of the dodo.

2025 Lexus RZ 300e lease from $389/month

The 2025 Lexus RZ 300e just got a little cheaper to lease in September. At $389 a month, it’s $10 a month less than before, making it the lowest price yet. On the West Coast, the sleek EV now carries an effective cost of $445 per month. That figure factors in $10,000 in savings, but like most EV deals right now, it wraps up on September 30. The RZ 300e, which has an MSRP of $44,475, requires $1,999 down and offers a three-year lease with 10,000 miles a year.

The higher-end RZ 450e, which comes with more range, is seeing an even bigger discount of $11,500. Competitive RZ lease deals are showing up across much of the US, and in some cases, the electric RZ is undercutting the 2025 Lexus UX 300h.

Cadillac Lyriq

2025 Cadillac LYRIQ lease from $529/month

The 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ might carry a sticker price $60,090, but right now you can lease one for just $529 a month. For the Luxury 1 trim, the effective cost this month is $665 for a three-year lease and $4,879 due at signing for 10,000 miles a year.

Cadillac’s advertised lease also includes a $2,000 conquest cash incentive, but you’ll only get it if you’re coming from another EV lease. So if you or someone in your household is leasing a Tesla, this is a prime chance to cash in before offers change in October. This incentive is available nationwide through September 30.
