With tariffs driving up EV prices and the $7,500 federal tax credit set to disappear on September 30, automakers are rolling out some of their best lease offers yet. That leaves just two weeks to lock in a deal. Here are September’s top EV lease specials, spotted by our friends at CarsDirect.
2025 Honda Prologue lease from $0/month
The 2025 Honda Prologue is serving up what might be the deal of the year: a One Pay Lease you won’t see splashed across ads. The Prologue EX is now offered at $3,799 for 24 months and 10,000 miles a year – a 20% drop from August’s $4,800 price.
Because it’s a One Pay lease, there are no monthly payments — you prepay up front. The Prologue can also be leased for $159 for 24 months with $1,099 due at signing.
The deal runs through September 30 in select states and includes either a loyalty discount or a conquest bonus if you’re switching from a competitor.
Honda has included $20,300 in lease cash, making this the best SUV lease around. That works out to an effective cost of just $158 a month. With EV incentives expiring at the end of the month, odds are this won’t be topped.

2025 Volkswagen ID.4 lease from $129/month
The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 Pro RWD just got a jaw-dropping lease deal. Its effective monthly cost has dropped by $264, bringing the payment down to just $129 a month for 24 months (10,000 miles a year) with only $2,499 due at signing. That works out to an effective monthly cost of only $233.
The lease rate itself has slid from about 1% to basically 0%. On top of that, Volkswagen is offering up to $12,350 in lease cash, depending on which trim you choose. Even at the low end, you’re still looking at $11,000 in lease cash, which includes the $7,500 tax credit that disappears on September 30.
This particular Pro RWD deal is available in California, Arizona, and Nevada through September 30. You can lease the ID.4 Pro S AWD for $209 per month for the same terms and $4,499 due at signing in other parts of the US. If you’re eyeing an ID.4, now’s the time to move.

2025 Kia Niro lease from $129/month
The 2025 Kia Niro in Wind EV trim (the Wave is the higher-end trim) can be leased for $129 with $3,999 down with 10,000 miles per year in most states. This trim has an effective monthly cost of just $296 a month through September 30. Lease cash incentives can make the MSRP $40,975 EV an even better deal.

2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 lease from $149/month
The refreshed 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 SE Standard Range RWD is going for $149/month for 36 months (10,000 miles a year) with $3,999 due at signing. That brings the effective monthly cost to just $260. This deal is available through September 30 in California, with similar deals around the US.
If you’ve got some wiggle room in your budget, the SE Long Range might be worth the upgrade at $189/month with the same upfront cost – only $40 more a month for a lot more range (318 miles vs. 245 miles).

2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E from $239/month
The 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium AWD Extended Battery can be leased through September 30 for $239 a month for 36 months (10.5k miles) and $4,389 due at signing, a $60 effective monthly cost price cut since the last offer.
This offer is also available with a free Ford Charge Station Pro and includes complimentary home installation. If you already have a home charger, you can opt for $500 in bonus cash instead. This offer is only available in California.
