lue-chip companies Unilever, AstraZeneca and British American Tobacco today lead another busy session for end-of-year corporate earnings.
Their reports come with the FTSE 100 index trading near to a record high, with sentiment largely unaffected by warnings over further US interest rate rises.
Despite last night’s down session on Wall Street, CMC Markets said the FTSE 100 is expected to open 18 points higher at 7903.
