Fulham and Crystal Palace face off this afternoon in the first FA Cup quarter-final, looking to become the first team to book their semi-final spot.

This season’s competition has proven to be one of the most open in recent history, with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all being knocked out early, along with Manchester United and Tottenham.

Manchester City are the clear favourites to lift the trophy, but their underwhelming season has given others hope of ending their silverware droughts, including Fulham and Palace.

Fulham welcome their London rivals across the capital, having won six of their last eight matches in all competitions but fell to a 2-0 home defeat to Palace a little over a month ago.

Palace have won their last five away games on the trot – and all without conceding a goal. They will hope Jean-Philippe Mateta is fit to return after his horror ear injury in the last round.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace is scheduled for a 12.15pm GMT kick-off today, Saturday, March 29, 2025.

The match will take place at Craven Cottage in west London.

Fulham will be able to call upon Sasa Lukic again after he served a two-game ban for picking up 10 yellow cards. He should come back into the midfield, with Andreas Pereira perhaps the one to make way.

Otherwise, it is a case of as you were with Reiss Nelson (thigh), Kenny Tete (knee) and Harry Wilson (foot) all sidelined. Adama Traore is fit again after a cameo against Tottenham.

As mentioned above, Mateta is back in contention though it remains to be seen if he starts. It is understood that the 27-year-old will wear a special mask to protect his left ear, which required 25 stitches after being struck by the boot of Millwall goalkeeper Liam Roberts.
