The market earlier in the week looked to prefer the likes of Stumptown or Ikoro, but trainer Willie Mullins’ golden run over the first two days at the Aintree meeting has seen punters look back at the 2024 winner and predict a third National triumph for Mullins, after Hedgehunter in 2005. Other threats include Vanillier, who came second in 2023, and Hewick.
