George Azar and Becky Fatemi

Rokstone in London, founded by Becky Fatemi in 2011, has partnered with UK Sotheby’s International Realty.

The merger will drive the continued growth for UK Sotheby’s International Realty and further expand its presence in prime central London.

In the 12 years since the company’s inception, Rokstone has already broken over £8bn worth of sales, thank in part to Fatemi’s close working relationship with the Candy Brothers and Finchatton.

UK Sotheby’s International Realty sought a partner who could take their residential offerings to a new level and there was no one better for this task than Fatemi and her team at Rokstone, according to George Azar, chairman and CEO of UK Sotheby’s International Realty.

He said: “Becky brings a level of energy and innovation that’s simply unmatched. Her track record speaks volumes, and her arrival at UK Sotheby’s International Realty signals a new era for prime central London real estate .”

Fatemi will continue to operate from their Dorset Street office In London where they will cover the whole super prime market for the UK and internationally, working with Sotheby’s International Realty affiliates.

The partnership will also see UK Sotheby’s International Realty support Becky’s charitable foundation, Shadow to Shine, an initiative she set up in 2010 operating in inner city London which offers mentoring, work experience and employability skills training to young adults aged between 16 and 30.

Fatemi, who is diversity ambassador for the Luxury Property Forum, will also continue her mission to increase representation and opportunities for all in the property industry.

She commented: “After approaches from some of the world’s leading brands and agencies over the years, I felt that George and I share a kindred tenacity and a desire to shake up the prime residential sector. I admire the success George has achieved in Dubai and the Middle Eastern region under his ownership and believe we can take Sotheby’s real estate proposition in the UK, and internationally, to new heights.

“This partnership marks an exciting next step in my career, alongside continued growth and opportunities for our excellent team. We look forward to making even more of our signature record-breaking deals under the UK Sotheby’s Realty banner.”
