Midlands-based Sheldon Bosley Knight (SBK) has purchased its first business of the year.

The property agency, which bought five agencies last year, has now completed the acquisition of a well-known Warwickshire-based lettings business.

Stratford-based Charles Saville Limited has joined the fold, adding more than 150 fully managed properties to SBK’s books.

Charles Saville Limited was established in 1984 and quickly built up a reputation as a high-quality lettings agent with tailored, highly personalised service as standard.

Currently managed by Nicola Morris, the business has built a significant following, with 75% of its portfolio come by word-of-mouth recommendation. Its client base covers Stratford-upon-Avon, South Warwickshire and North Cotswolds.

SBK custodian, Mike Cleary said: “I am honoured Nicola has chosen Sheldon Bosley Knight to hand over the reins of her business.

“I have got to know her over the last four years and it’s clear she’s run a tight ship enabling her to build an excellent lettings agency and in fact I believe it to be one of the best in Stratford.

“It’s testament to Nicola’s hard work and dedication that she found out last week that she has been awarded the British Property Awards Best Lettings Firm.

“The acquisition itself is a perfect fit for us as our core values of putting the client first and excellent customer service are very much aligned.

“We are delighted her staff will be joining us and we wish Nicola all the very best for her new life.”

SBK, which celebrated its 180th birthday last year, has more than 180 in-house staff in offices across Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Worcestershire, the West Midlands and the Cotswolds.
