The 2023 London Domain Summit came to an end on the 23rd of August after two days of non-stop activities at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel. The conference, which focused on the domain industry, attracted participants from all over the world and featured a variety of speakers and topics. The event was bigger and better than the first edition held in August 2022, and received positive feedback from attendees on social media.

The first day of the conference (August 22) ended with a keynote presentation by DN.com’s Yue Dai, who shared insights on the secondary market for premium domain names in China.

The attendees also enjoyed a social event at the Metropole, where they had a chance to network and mingle with other domain professionals. Some of the guests included London Domain Summit Founder Helmuts Meskonis, ShortDot SA Founder Lars Jensen, IT.com Founder & CEO Andrey Insarov (IT.com was the title sponsor of the conference) and Mark Ghoriafi (MrPremium.com).

IT.COM, the ideal domain name for the IT industry, domain hacks, and Italy-specific domains, were one of the presenting sponsors and exhibitors of the London Domain Summit 2023. The IT.com speakers included Joe Alagna, who was a former General Manager of North American Markets for CentralNic and a domain industry veteran, and Tess Diaz, an enterprise domain name expert with over 20 years of experience. IT.COM also announced a three-year partnership with the Armageddon Championship Series, a TV-friendly Chess tournament created by World Chess PLC, reflecting the popularity of Chess among the IT community.

At the London Domain Summit 2023, IT.com showcased the benefits of partnering with the international domain name registry and later shared some photos from the event on social media, featuring their CEO Andrey Insarov and business development managers Natalija Japerte and Rolandas Japertas.

The second and final day of the conference (August 23) started with a panel discussion on buying and selling premium domain names, where experts shared their tips and strategies for domain investing.

The 2023 Summit continued with three more sessions before the lunch break. During the breaks, attendees enjoyed networking with each other and having face to face conversations with friends and colleagues from the domain industry around the world. British domain name developer and consultant Sam Charles shared this photo of him with Braden Pollock, a well-known domain investor and business angel from the US.

After lunch, the Summit resumed with four final sessions. One of them featured Eleonora Bellotto and Federico Costa from FreeName.io, who gave an insightful presentation on Web 3 domains.

The last session of the 2023 Summit was a live debate between two candidates for the position of member-elected non-executive director at Nominet, the .uk registry operator. Thomas Rickert and Steve Wright debated their views and plans, moderated by Andrew Bennett.

When the business part was over, it was time to enjoy the London night life. IT.com posted this picture of Munir Badr, Joe Alagna, Yue Dai, Andrey Insarov and Rolandas Japertas having a good time. Munir Badr is the founder of AEServer.com and Domain Days Dubai, a new conference that will debut in November 2023.

The founder and organizer of the summit, Helmuts Meskonis, expressed his satisfaction for the outcome of the event. He also announced that the next edition of the summit will take place in 2024, promising to deliver an even more exciting and valuable experience for the domain community.
