Devastating explosions have rocked Romania leaving more than 57 people injured with at least one dead after a petrol station blew up on Saturday.
At least two explosions were reported and officials said that 26 firefighters were in injured in the second blast.
The explosions happened at a filling station which provides liquefied petroleum gas in the town of Crevedia, which is some 18 miles northwest of the capital, Bucharest
The Mirror reported that around 3,000 people were evacuated from the area and footage shows the fire spread to a field and that several houses were also damaged.

Romania’s President, Klaus Iohannis, wrote on social media, “A new tragedy has rocked Romania this evening and I send my condolences to the grieving families and I wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
“At this moment, the zero priority is to provide those affected all the necessary support and to facilitate their access to emergency treatment.
“I am deeply saddened that the explosions in Crevedia resulted in casualties.
“I request the authorities to take urgent measures for the injured so that the tragedies of the past will not be repeated,” he concluded.
