Hybrid estate agency eXp UK has now signed up more than 800 estate agents with the firm expected to expand further later this year, the company has revealed.
Launched in November 2019, the digitally-focused platform initially signed up 50 agents but now has over agents on board, as more agents seek self-employment with a view to managing their own business.
The latest announcement comes just over a year since eXp UK launched its brokerage model – designed to convert existing branch-based estate agency businesses to the use of self-employed fee-earners – along with its own buyer representation programme.
This latest achievement cements eXp UK as the largest self-employed estate agency platform in the UK, according to Adam Day.
This latest milestone reaffirms eXp UK’s position as the largest self-employed estate agency platform in the UK, according to Adam Day.
He said: “When we first brought eXp to the UK in 2019, we knew there was a huge appetite for change within the estate agency sector, but even I could not have anticipated just how quickly the model would take root and grow.
“Reaching 800 agents is another incredible milestone, but what excites me most is the consistent strength of that growth. Month after month, more agents and businesses are recognising the benefits of our platform, from the support, training, and technology we provide, to the freedom and autonomy that comes with being self-employed.
“It is this combination that has firmly established eXp UK as the nation’s leading platform for self-employed agents, and yet we’re still only scratching the surface of what’s possible. The journey so far has been extraordinary, but the future potential is even greater.”
