The supermarket chain Iceland are putting their customers first and have decided not to “spend millions” on Christmas TV adverts.

Iceland have said they will instead support their customers this Christmas as the cost of living crisis continues for millions of households.

Data released by the Advertising Association and the World Advertising Research Centre shows that during the Christmas season advertisers will spend a whopping £9.5 billion.

The managing director of Iceland, Richard Walker wrote on X, “Rather than spend millions creating and sharing a TV ad, we chose to invest the money supporting our customers during the cost of living crisis.”
