An estate agent has strengthened its local presence with the opening of a new branch.

Carver Residential has opened a new office in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, which “reaffirms the company’s long-term commitment to the area”, according to the company.

The office, on Aycliffe’s Dalton Way, has been acquired by the estate agency, replacing a nearby rented premises used by the firm for more than two decades.

The site was officially opened by Great Aycliffe mayor Councillor John Clark.

Henry Carver, director of the Carver Group, which includes Carver Residential, said: “We’ve been part of the Newton Aycliffe community for more than 20 years, and when the opportunity came to purchase our own office, we saw it as the perfect way to invest in our future here.

“This move allows us to provide an even better experience for clients while cementing our long-term commitment to the town.”
