Now coached by Simone Inzaghi, they finished third in Serie A this season, won the Coppa Italia, and have knocked out Porto, Benfica and city rivals AC Milan.
Joaquin Correa looks set to miss the final, while Skriniar and former Arsenal and Manchester United midfielder Mkhitaryan could return to face Manchester City in the final in Istanbul.
Mkhitaryan is recovering from his thigh injury but is likely to be back in time for Saturday. Centre-back Skriniar was named on the bench against Torino at the weekend and should be ready to start in the final.
Correa’s situation is less promising, and he may be ruled out of the final due to a calf injury he picked up in the Coppa Italia Final victory over Fiorentina on May 24.
