On Friday the Jordanian King Abdullah II warned in a meeting with the US Secretary of State of displacing Palestinians.

This comes as Israel has ordered 1.1 million Gazans to evacuate the north as the Israeli military prepare for a full-scale ground offensive.

King Abdullah II told Antony Blinken on Friday, “The crisis should not be spread to neighboring countries and exacerbate the refugee issue.”

The Jordanian King who is a US partner called for the “opening humanitarian corridors to allow for the entry of urgent medical and relief aid to Gaza, and protecting civilians and stopping the escalation and war on Gaza.”

An Israeli army spokesman Daniel Hagari told journalists, “We are trying to provide the time and we are doing a lot of effort, and we understand it won’t take 24 hours.”

Hagari was asked by journalists if the army had notified UN officials that Gazans have 24 hours to evacuate, he added, “I will not say (if) it’s an accurate time.”

It has been reported that Hamas are stopping civilians from leaving their homes since Israel has warned of imminent strikes.
