Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (KFH) has sold its Financial Services mortgage division to First Mortgage.

As part of the acquisition, KFH’s mortgage advisory team, led by Kelly Wicks and Malcolm Waldron, will join First Mortgage. The team’s experience, client relationships, and knowledge of the London property market are expected to play a key role in supporting First Mortgage’s growth in the region.

First Mortgage says the acquisition provides a strategic entry point into the London property market and will support the company’s broader expansion across the South of England.

The move follows First Mortgage’s recent partnership with Moneybox and the acquisition of Lucra Mortgages earlier this year, signalling the company’s ongoing growth strategy in the mortgage sector.

Ian McGrail, chief executive at First Mortgage, said: “We’re genuinely excited to welcome Kelly, Malcolm, and their exceptional team into First Mortgage, whose reputation for professionalism and client care aligns perfectly with our own vision and values.”

“Together, we look forward to building on their impressive legacy and supporting even more London customers with the high-quality advice they deserve.”
