The pro-Iran Islamic terrorist group Hezbollah has praised Hamas for their operation in Israel and said that armed resistance is the only way they can confront Israeli “aggression.”
Hezbollah has said on Saturday that they are in direct contact with Hamas leaders both in Gaza and overseas and support the militant group, but stopped short of saying they will join in the fighting.
Hamas launched “Operation al-Aqsa Flood” early on Saturday morning launching 5,000 rockets in southern Israel.
In response the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) launched “Operation Iron Swords” which has seen hundreds of armed soldiers patrolling the streets.
The Lebanese group Hezbollah has issued a statement describing Hamas military offensive as a decisive response to the occupation’s crimes and continuous attacks against sacredness and dignity.”
The Shiite Jihadist party statement added, “This once again demonstrates that the will of the Palestinian people and the weapons of resistance are the only option to confront the enemy and the occupation.

“It sends a message to the Arab and Muslim world, as well as to the international community, especially those attempting to normalize their relations with the enemy, that the Palestinian cause is still alive.”
In the Lebanese capital, Beirut demonstrations have erupted in support of Hamas and the government’s coalition includes members who are pro-Iranian armed party of Hezbollah.
In the port city of Sidon in southern Lebanon fishing vessels can be seen in the Mediterranean Sea waving Palestinian flags in support of Hamas’ armed offensive in Southern Israel.

Islamic Jihad (Holy war) has seen dozens of heavily armed Hamas fighters capturing “many” Israeli soldiers and taking them as prisoner of war (POW).
Hamas spokesman Abu Hamza wrote on Telegram, “We confirm in the Al-Quds Brigades that at this moment, thanks to God, we have many Israeli soldiers in our hands.”
The Islamic Jihad, the “Al-Quds Brigades” armed wing of the Iranian backed militant group said on Saturday they have collaborated with Hamas for the offensive in Israel.
Hezbollah warned the Israeli government to “learn lessons from the Palestinian resistance” as the offensive by Hamas is a “decisive response to the continuing crimes of the occupation.”

Mohammed Deif, commander of Al-Qassam Brigades said in a televised speech that codename “al-Aqsa Flood Battle” has started against Israel after having permission from Hezbollah.
Deif said, In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Permission (to fight) has been granted to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory.” (Quranic verse).
“Hezbollah congratulates the resisting Palestinian people and the heroic fighters of the Palestinian factions, especially our dear brothers in the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, for the wide-ranging and divinely supported heroic operation, promising complete victory.
“This triumphant operation is a decisive response to the ongoing crimes of the occupation and continuous violations against sanctities, honors, and dignities.
“It is a renewed confirmation that the will of the Palestinian people and the rifle of the resistance is the only choice in confronting aggression and occupation.
“It sends a message to the Arab and Islamic world, and the international community as a whole, especially those seeking normalization with this enemy, that the Palestinian cause is an everlasting one, alive until victory and liberation.
“We call on the peoples of our Arab and Islamic nation, and the free people around the world, to declare their support and backing for the Palestinian people and the Resistance movements, affirming their unity in blood, word, and action.
“The leadership of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon is closely following the significant developments on the Palestinian scene, monitoring the field conditions with utmost interest. They are in direct contact with the leadership of the Palestinian Resistance both domestically and abroad, constantly evaluating the events and the progress of operations.
“Thus, we call on the government of the Zionist enemy to comprehend the important lessons established by the Palestinian Resistance in the battlefield and arenas of confrontation.”
