Two of the Premier League’s fiercest old rivals lock horns again for the second time in the space of five days at Elland Road this afternoon. Their Old Trafford encounter was eventually rescheduled for Wednesday night and saw the points shared in a four-goal thriller, with Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho hitting back for Erik ten Hag’s side after Wilfried Gnonto’s early opener and an unfortunate Raphael Varane own goal.
A similarly lively contest can be expected in West Yorkshire today, with Manchester United hoping to temporarily leapfrog Manchester City into second place after only one win from their last four top-flight games that has somewhat halted that considerable momentum built since the return from the mid-season World Cup break.
The hosts are still managerless after the sacking of Jesse Marsch last week and seem to be struggling to convince any of their primary targets to join a relegation battle, with Leeds currently perched just one point and one place outside the bottom three. Michael Skubala takes caretaker charge once again this afternoon. Follow Leeds vs Manchester United live below!

Leeds vs Manchester United prediction
After a big improvement from Leeds in midweek, taking Manchester United back to Elland Road should provide another entertaining, potentially fiery, affair.
A 2-2 draw again.
Manchester United team news
There are similar issues for Manchester United and Erik ten Hag.
Anthony Martial (hip), Antony (leg) and Scott McTominay are all still out for today and not expected back for the huge Europa League play-off round first-leg tie against Barcelona at Camp Nou on Thursday.

Donny van de Beek will miss the rest of the season after knee surgery, though Aaron Wan-Bissaka could return today after illness.
Leeds team news
Leeds are contending with a number of injury concerns at present, with Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra fighting to be fit for today’s game after a knock that forced him off at Old Trafford along with captain Liam Cooper and midfielder Marc Roca.
Pascal Struijk remains sidelined with a concussion, while Rodrigo is expected to miss the next two months with an ankle injury sustained in the recent FA Cup win over Accrington Stanley.

Hello and welcome to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of Leeds vs Manchester United in the Premier League.
Just days after their thrilling 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in which Erik ten Hag’s side battled back from two goals down to earn a point thanks to the efforts of Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho, these two old rivals square off for the second time at Elland Road this afternoon.
A win for the visitors would see them at least temporarily go up into second place before Manchester City host Aston Villa later, while managerless Leeds are desperate to increase their razor thin one-point cushion to the dreaded drop zone.
Michael Skubala is in temporary charge of the Whites once again here as they struggle to appoint a preferred successor to the sacked Jesse Marsch.
Kick-off in West Yorkshire is at 2pm GMT, so stay tuned for all the latest team news, build-up and live game updates!
