Lomond has strengthened its footprint in Leeds with the acquisition of the lettings portfolio of local agent Right Let Leeds. The portfolio will now be managed under Lomond’s Yorkshire flagship brand, Linley & Simpson, as part of the company’s regional growth strategy.

Founded in 2012 by Ross Munro and Maani Zakikhani, Right Let Leeds specialises in student rentals and professional portfolio lettings. Under Lomond’s ownership, landlords will continue to receive the same level of service.

The acquisition reinforces Lomond’s strategy of partnering with established local agents and strengthens its presence in the region ahead of 2026.

Ross Munro and Maani  Zakikhani, founders of Right Let Leeds, issued a joint statement: “Over the past 13 years, our growth has been driven by word of mouth and the loyalty of our landlords. As we take some time out for the next chapter, we’re delighted to be passing our business to Lomond, a business that is equipped to provide our landlords with the tools and capabilities they need in the changing legislative landscape.”

David Mear, MD, Linley & Simpson, commented: “Right Let Leeds’ reputation as a long-standing trusted partner for professional landlords make them a perfect fit for the ethos of our business and we look forward to embarking on this partnership together.”

David Alexander, Lomond’s CRO, added: “Their [Right Let Leeds] reputation and commitment to quality make them a perfect fit for our organisation. We are continuing our expansion across Yorkshire and beyond and we’re always looking for high-calibre agents who are eager to grow, innovate and be part of our ambitious plan.”
