An estate agency in Teesside which has been helping people buy and sell homes for decades has had a name change.
Robinsons Tees Valley is now Smith & Friends Estate Agents. The move may not be a surprise to some as the logo has been quietly sitting in the corner of all Robinsons Tees Valley signage and even for sale and to let boards since 2021.
After a busy two years, MD Mark Smith, who has worked for the company for more than 20 years, is ready to revamp the business, which currently has five branches.
He said “For quite some time, since taking over Robinsons Tees Valley as a company we have continued to build on the success laid by our predecessor.
“We knew from day one that a brand change was on the horizon, although Robinsons Tees Valley is well established and well known, we felt it needed a refresh with a modern yet professional image.
“We are backing this with technology to showcase our vendors and landlords properties at the best it can be. We already have an active social media platform and will be adding to this with the Smith & Friends tiktok account.
“Having seen changes in legislation, technology and not to mention the economic climate in the last 20 years, we have seen various peaks and troughs in the property industry over the years but that invaluable experience stands our team in good stead to be the agent of choice in all markets.
“The company is going to grow as we expand across the Tees Valley in the coming years. Our vision is to provide a sustainable and engaging Estate Agency that helps vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants in their property journey. In addition our Mortgage team and excellent relationships with local solicitors make our business the complete property service.
