At this year’s annual LonRes summer party held, Anthony Payne, managing director of LonRes announced the winners of the coveted 2024 LonRes Awards.

The awards aims to recognise the best in the industry and includes a Lifetime Achievement Award which this year went to Gary Hersham, who founded Beauchamp Estates 40 years ago.

Awards are also given to those estate agency branches which achieved the top sales and lettings recorded on LonRes over a 12-month period from the beginning of June 2023 to the end of May 2024.

Divided by region (Central, North, South, East and West), awards were given for the highest lets and highest sales in each area.

Sales of the year awards 2024 – the winners:

CENTRAL LONDON – won jointly by Savills (Sloane Street) and Prime Purchase (Sloane Street)

+ For the sale of a property in Kensington & Chelsea which sold for £65,000,00

 

NORTH LONDON – won by Savills (St John’s Wood)

+ For the sale of a property in St John’s Wood for £22,500,000

 

SOUTH LONDON – won jointly by JLL (Kensington) and Eccord (Sloane Square)

+ For the sale of a property in Fulham for £10,200,000

 

EAST LONDON – won by The Modern House

+ For the sale of a property in Clerkenwell for £6,000,000

 

WEST LONDON – won by Russell Simpson (Sydney Street)

+ For the sale of a property in Notting Hill for £35,000,000

 

Sale of the year award 2024 – Country

Won by Blue Book (London & Country)

+ For the sale of a property outside Stroud, Gloucestershire for £7,300,000

 

Let of the year awards 2024 – the winners

CENTRAL LONDON – Chestertons (Mayfair)

+ For the let of a property in Mayfair for £30,000 pw/£130,000 pm

 

NORTH LONDON – Knight Frank (Hampstead)

+ For the let of a property in Hampstead for £25,000 pw/£108,333 pm

 

SOUTH LONDON – Beauchamp Estates (Mayfair)

+ For the let of a property in Roehampton Gate for £10,800 pw/£46,800 pm

 

EAST LONDON  – Cluttons (Wapping)

+ For the let of a property in Wapping for £2,077 pw /£9,000 pm

 

WEST LONDON – Mountgrange Heritage (Kensington)

+ For the let of a property in Holland Park for £25,000 pw/£108,333 pm

 

Payne commented: “The LonRes Awards celebrate the best in the business and huge congratulations go to all the winners.  With special congratulations to Gary Hersham whose Lifetime Achievement Award was undeniably well deserved.  He is one of the very best agents specialising at the top end of the residential market, a position that he has maintained for nearly five decades.  This award recognises what is truly an outstanding achievement.”
