Saturday has been a settled day for many, but the Met Office has announced to expect wet and windy weather conditions later next week.
There is a potential for more National Severe Weather Warnings by mid-week coming and a yellow weather warning is in place for rain in Scotland from 1pm to midnight on Sunday.
The rain will mainly persist on higher ground in areas across Scotland and there is a growing deep area of “low pressure” which will develop mid-week next week that could “bring disruption to parts of the UK.”

Deputy Chief Forecaster at the Met Office, Mark Sidaway said, “The start of next week will continue showery for many with strong winds in northwestern areas.
“There is the potential for a deep area of low pressure to bring further heavy rain and disruptive winds on Wednesday and Thursday but details on timings and the exact location of potential impacts remain uncertain at this far ahead.”
