Lumen stock surges toward best day in 28 months

were extending their rally into a third straight session Tuesday and on track to log their best daily performance in more than two years. The telecommunications stock was up 18.6% in Tuesday’s midday action, putting it on pace to record its largest single-day percentage gain since Jan. 26, 2021, when it rose 28.1%. Lumen said Monday morning that it collaborated with Microsoft Corp.

Google on a new network interconnection ecosystem that’s called the ExaSwitch. The technology uses optical switching to link metro sites, according to Monday’s release. Lumen shares have increased 21.3% over their current three-session winning streak.
