Edward Rose Property Group, a franchise partner of Your Move, is expanding its business through a lettings acquisition with the purchase of Team 2 Property Management, an established business serving the local Torquay and Torbay area.

The purchase will see a lettings portfolio of over 560 landlords, previously with Team 2 Estate Agents, join the Edward Rose Property Group’s Your Move network expanding its coverage across Devon.

The Edward Rose Property Group currently operates on the South West and South Coast with six Your Move branches.

The move forms part of LSL Estate Agency Franchising’s ambitious growth plans, that see it investing in its existing franchisees to grow market share and expand into new territories.

On the acquisition, Hannah Gretton, LSL Estate Agency Franchising Director, said: “We are delighted to have completed on the purchase of Team 2 to expand Edward Rose Property Group’s footprint.

“It’s been a really exciting acquisition, with a great synergy between Team 2 and Your Move and we’re really looking forward to seeing the business flourish.”

LSL Estate Agency Franchising has completed 45 acquisitions to date.

Your Move local franchise owner, David Vertannes, said: “LSL Estate Agency Franchising has been hugely supportive across every aspect of the acquisition process; from bringing the opportunity to our attention, to offering guidance when needed on negotiation and with the all-important funding.

“The partnership has given us exactly what we wanted from a franchisor and more – it’s exactly what you want in a business partner and we want to take advantage of everything LSL Estate Agency Franchising can offer.  There’s a really bright future between us.”
