The Metropolitan Police have captured Daniel Khalife four days after he escaped from under a van at Wandsworth Prison in Chiswick, West London.
The Met Police captured the fugitive shortly after 11am on Saturday following several sightings of Khalife overnight.
Police have said they will provide more information in dues course following his arrest and Khalife is now in custody.
Following “intelligence-led activity” with confirmed sightings of the escaped prisoner the Met Police carried out “intensive” searches throughout Saturday morning.
Police could be seen stopping cars and asking the public to open their boots and checking ID and armed units with dogs are by the River Thames.
