The teams at Sheldon Bosley Knight love a challenge, especially when it involves supporting a local charity, and they are raring to go as they train for their next project
Chloe Wright, Katie Fitzgerald, Josh Jones, Max Danby, Isobel Dix, Kate Taylor, Micha Johnson, Rebecca Dean, James Taylor and Sam Wright are hard at work preparing for a very special event, as the team of 10 from across the Sheldon Bosley Knight business train for the Three Peaks Challenge, which takes place on Saturday 13th September.
It is not for the fainthearted as it entails climbing the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland – Scafell Pike (978m), Snowdon (1,085m) and Ben Nevis (1,345m) respectively – in under 24 hours.
Katie said: “We’re taking on this challenge to raise money for the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust, a brilliant charity which provides vital equipment and support for leukaemia patients and helps fund important research in the fight against this disease.”
Having already raised 50% of their £5,000 fundraising target, the team is delighted to have been given a £350 donation from Agent’s Giving.
Katie added: “We’re incredibly grateful for Agent’s Giving’s support as we take on this challenge to raise funds for The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust. Your generosity brings us one step closer to our goal – and gives us a real boost as we prepare for the climb!”
