Lloyds Banking Group are to close a further 45 branches, they are to shut 22 Halifax branches, 19 Lloyds sites and the Bank of Scotland will see four closures.
Staff will be offered roles are other branches or positions in the other parts of the business and there are no planned redundancies.
NatWest Group have said they will close a further 19 branches in the early part of 2024, the latest bank closures the high street has seen this year is 623.
A Lloyds Banking Group spokesman said, “The way customers choose to bank with us has changed rapidly in recent years, and we now offer a wide range of options for their everyday banking needs.
“This includes our mobile app, online and over the phone.
“Customers can also bank with us through the Post Office, in a Banking Hub, or by speaking to a Community Banker.”
