The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Olesksandr Syrskyi has said that Vladimir Putin has increased his troop strength to 710,000 as they are preparing for a strategic offensive in Ukraine.
The commander said the frontline is difficult and even though Russia has “sustained” more than 1.1 million casualties the Russian army will not stop their offensive, despite not achieving any operational success.
Former Ukrainian Marine and author of Live, Fight, Survive wrote on X, “Interesting, given that after nearly four years of fighting he hasn’t achieved a single one of his objectives, remains bogged down in the Donbas, has sustained around 1.1 million Russian casualties, and now sees the “motherland” bombed daily.”
