The SpaceX chief Elon Musk has called for a “new election in Britain” as most voters believe that Labour are “dishonest, incompetent” and unsuccessful” according to a YouGov poll.

The YouGov poll was commissioned by The Times and most of the electorate are expecting Keir Starmer to flounder at every “milestone” that has been set out for the Cabinet to achieve.

Following the unsurprising poll, the Tesla boss took to X and wrote, “A new election should be called in Britain,” he then wrote, “Vote Reform. It’s the only hope.”

According to the poll commissioned by The Times they estimate 21% of voters say they trust Labour with the economy, whilst 24% prefer the Conservative Party.

Labour has lost 33 out of some 100 council seats contested across the UK since the 4 July general election.

Elon Musk takes aim at Starmer warning ‘few companies willing to invest’ in the UK under Labour

Political analyst Lord Hayward told Times Radio: “There’s no precedent in this country for any Government who has lost support so quickly and so heavily.

“Labour were given the benefit of the doubt a bit at the start, but the loss of support in recent weeks has been absolutely stunning.”

“Labour’s choices have decimated their inheritance.”

Executive director of More in Common UK Luke Tryl said, “With potentially four and a half years to go, this model is not a prediction of what would happen at the next general election.

“Instead, however, it confirms the fragmentation of British politics that we saw in July’s election has only accelerated in Labour’s six months in office.”

End of last month Musk took aim at the Prime Minister yet again warning Labour that few businesses will want “to invest” in the UK with Labour in power.

Musk said in an attack on Starmer, “Very few companies will be willing to invest in the UK with the current administration.”

The Prime Minister’s official spokesperson said, “I’m not going to get into commentary on individual comments, but if you look at what’s happened since the election, you’ve seen the £63 billion of additional investment from the investment summit.

“You’ve seen the government respond to some of the businesses’ key concerns in the UK, which is lack of stability, and the government’s brought back that stability, both politically and economically.”

The spokesman added that “the Government has taken an unashamedly pro-growth and pro-business approach.”

In September Musk slammed Starmer and wrote on X, “I don’t think anyone should go to the UK when they’re releasing convicted paedophiles in order to imprison people for social media posts.”

He accused Starmer of being “Two Tier Keir” and said that the UK could enter into a civil war under Labour.

In December 2024 Starmer was voted the worst Prime Minister in modern history after almost 6 months in power in a poll by Ipsos Mori.

Labour MPs are discussing to potentially axe Starmer after he led the party to their largest ever election victory this year.
