Russia are ramping up the production of military hardware more than tenfold the country’s largest weapons producer has said.

To combat the billions of pounds of military hardware Ukraine has received from the West Vladimir Putin has ordered production to be increased in order to supply his troops in Ukraine.

Bekhan Ozdoev, industrial director of the armament complex at Rostec, who controls most of the weapons industry and has family living in England, said production volumes has been ramped up between two and 10 times.

Ozdoev said, “We are going forward at cruising speed, smoke from all the pipes.”

Rostec have significantly ramped up the production of tanks, artillery, Iskander short-range ballistic missile, armoured vehicles and the hypersonic Kinzhal missile.

The US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin is urging NATO and their allies to “dig deep” and give Ukraine more “air-defence systems.”

Auston said in a meeting of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group at Ramstein air base in Germany that “air-defence is saving lives.”

He added, “So I urge this group to continue to dig deep on ground-based air defence for Ukraine. We must continue to push hard to provide Ukraine with air-defence systems and interceptors.”

The British Ministry of Defence (MoD) believe that Vladimir Putin will “likely” build up a “significant stockpile” of missiles for attacks on energy infrastructure over the winter months.

The MoD believe that Moscow are stockpiling cruise missiles to bombard Ukrainian energy infrastructure in an attempt to “starve” and freeze Ukrainians “to death” this winter.

British intelligence said that Russia has reduced the use of air-launched cruise missiles (ALCM) to save them and Moscow has ramped up production.

Germany’s foreign minister Annalena Baerbock warned that Russia wants to “starve” people and “let them freeze to death” this winter by targeting energy facilities.

Last winter Russia sent a constant stream of cruise missiles to target key sites between October and March, Moscow knows exactly where the energy facilities are based because they built them.
