Two of Martin & Co’s Oxfordshire branches are under new ownership, it has been revealed.

Experienced property professional David Rebe has taken on the Oxford and Thame branches from previous franchisee Bill Cooper in a resale process, inheriting two teams in both offices.

Rebe’s background lies in sales, lettings and block management in his native South Africa with Sandak-Lewin Trust – a long-standing property company based in Cape Town.

He said: “I’m hugely proud to be a part of Martin & Co and in particular lead two outstanding teams in Oxford and Thame.

“My business partners and I were looking for an opportunity in the UK and quickly decided that a franchise opportunity would be the best approach for us.

“Joining a highly-recognised brand within a franchise structure like the Property Franchise Group, coupled with two amazing teams in Oxford and Thame, has given me a huge amount of comfort.

“That support has allowed me to come in and very quickly get up to speed with what it takes to deliver the level of service our clients in Oxford and Thame are used to.

“The teams are highly capable and extremely hungry for growth – as am I.”

Martin & Co MD, Ellie Hall, added: “David joins the Martin & Co family with a wealth of experience in global property.

“That international experience puts David in a very unique and special position to build on the great work done by Bill Cooper since 2016 and I’m hugely excited to see what he has planned for his new business.”
