The new owner is now officially at Andrew Morris Estate Agents, an agency that has been running for nearly 40 years in Hereford.

Craig Sewell joined the company in 2010, and describes the last 15 years as “growing with the business”, where he became a joint-owning director in 2022.

The company was founded in August 1986 by Andrew Morris, and his wife, Sandra. Having been a property professional for nearly sixty years, he announced that he felt the “time was right” to sell the business to Sewell, who officially took over as the new owner of the business on 1st August 2025.

“I want to start by thanking Andrew for his incredible commitment, leadership and service over so many years,” Sewell told the Hereford Times. “He laid the foundations of this business with care, dedication and an unwavering focus on putting people first. It’s because of that solid foundation that we are in such a strong position today.”

However, Morris has not fully retired and will continue to support the business two days a week, he says, offering his “experience and guidance while stepping back from day-to-day leadership.”

Sewell added: “We’re not about to reinvent the wheel. What we have is already fantastic – from our marketing and negotiation skills to the care we offer every client.

“But I also believe the future holds even more potential. My vision is to continue to build on our strengths and grow the business further, while never losing the personal, local touch that makes us who we are.”
