said late Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Carl Lukach is resigning, effective June 9. Lukach has accepted a similar role at a company in the retail industry which will allow him to be closer to family, the company said, without disclosing the new company. Chief Executive Dave Boennighausen, who was the company’s CFO from 2012 to 2017, will serve as interim CFO. The company has started a formal search for a new CFO and Lukach will be available to support the transition, it said. Shares of Noodles & Co. edged higher in the extended session Thursday after ending the regular trading day up 0.7%.
