OnTheMarket has partnered with Push Property, the automated social media service, to help agents promote their listings on social media.

Following a successful trial period, all agents signed up to OnTheMarket can now purchase the Push Property product at a discounted rate to support their social media activity. Once a new listing is live on OnTheMarket, a trigger can be set up so that social media posts can be automated to promote these properties on the agency’s social channels, saving them valuable time.

Agents can choose from a range of personalised templates to be posted across their social media channels to promote newly listed properties, when a sale or let has been agreed or when there has been a price reduction. In addition, posts can be automated to encourage potential movers to get a valuation from the agent or to further promote slow moving stock.

The channels supported by Push Property are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. As well as being an efficient way to keep on top of sharing their listings to their social media platforms, the posts will ensure consistency on the agent’s social media channels as they will not have to worry about missing updates and manually setting up posts to go live. Once activated, every time a property matches the agent’s chosen triggers, Push Property will automatically take care of posting to the agency’s social media.

Depending on the chosen templates, posts can display an image of the property being promoted, the price and location. The posts can also link through to the full live listing and property details on OnTheMarket or the agent’s website, making it easy for buyers to engage and show their interest.

Jason Tebb, CEO of OnTheMarket, commented: “The importance of social media shouldn’t be overlooked, especially in our industry, as movers rely on conducting their property searches online more and more. In any market, agents are incredibly busy with day to day activity, so we’re delighted to be able to support our members with their social media presence to ensure they’re consistently making the most of their channels and promoting the stock hosted on our site.

“Bringing our agents together with consumers is an incredibly important part of what we do, and this partnership will help them stay competitive and front of mind.”

Andy Hill, co-founder of Push Property, added: “We are thrilled to partner with OnTheMarket, as we share their commitment to providing innovative solutions that empower estate agents to excel. In today’s digital landscape, the role of social media in reaching consumers is more crucial than ever.

“Our platform aims to help agents seize this opportunity by implementing technology that not only increases efficiency but also saves valuable time. We believe that supporting agents in this manner has never been more important, and this partnership is a significant step in that direction.”
