In a move that blends online and offline gaming, the leading slot provider Play’n GO announced its first-ever UK land-based launch of one of the world’s most popular online slot games, Book of Dead. This milestone came to fruition via a partnership with William Hill, one of the leading betting and gaming companies in the UK.

The move marks a significant development in the UK gaming industry, as it represents the first time an online slot game this popular will transition into the physical realm of fixed odds betting terminals (FOBTs). Initially, Book of Dead will be available across about 100 William Hill stores, with plans for a full rollout in the coming weeks.

While this offline expansion is thrilling for many players, the online realm remains a robust platform for Play’n GO. Their games are readily available at hundreds of online casinos, providing players with the ease of access to their high quality slots from the comfort of their own homes.

As players seek out these online opportunities, it is recommended to opt for fast withdrawal casinos, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free gaming experience with minimal delay in accessing winnings. This combines the thrill of the Play’n GO games with the convenience and speed that online players have come to expect.

The successful launch of Book of Dead in physical gaming stations was made possible by a unique framework developed by Play’n GO. This technology not only facilitates the introduction of Book of Dead to offline terminals but also sets the stage for the potential rollout of the entire portfolio of Play’n GO games into the retail space, independent of an internet connection.

The land-based launch of Book of Dead comes in the wake of a prolific period for Play’n GO, which saw the release of more than 50 new slot titles in the past year, amassing over 300 titles in its portfolio. This includes recent UK favourites such as Boat Bonanza and Legion Gold.

Commenting on the occasion, Johan Törnqvist, CEO and Co-Founder of Play’n GO, expressed that the convergence between the online and land-based gaming sectors has been long overdue. He added, “However, there won’t be an industry in the future if we don’t provide amazing entertainment in a fun and safe environment. William Hill believes just as strongly in this as we do, and I’m sure this land-based partnership will be a long and fruitful one.”

Ian Millman, UK Gaming Director at William Hill, echoed Törnqvist’s sentiments, saying that the partnership will drive innovation through the gaming industry together. Millman expressed confidence that customers across the UK would enjoy the in-store version of Book of Dead as much as its online counterpart.

Before this new partnership, Play’n GO’s titles were primarily available online and on cruise ships, where Book of Dead was also a crowd favourite. This agreement, however, signifies the first instance of the company’s games making their way into a traditional retail setting, hence marking a new chapter for Play’n GO’s innovative pursuits.
