The US President Joe Biden has arrived in Israel to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
On Tuesday a hospital was attacked in southern Gaza killing hundreds of people and President Biden said that Palestinian militants caused the brutal attack and that Hamas brought on the “suffering.”
The health authorities which are controlled by the militant group Hamas said that explosion killed between 200 and 300 people.
Hamas have accused an Israeli air strike and President Biden and the Israeli Defence Force (IDF) have said it was the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

The IDF said that the PIJ had fired a volley of rockets into Israel and one had misfired which landed at the hospital.
The IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari is said it was “impossible to know what happened as quickly as Hamas claimed they knew.”
He said, that the IDF intercepted communication “between terrorists talking about rockets misfiring.”
“We take any incident involving civilians very, very seriously,” he added.
Hagari accused Hamas of launching a “global media campaign to hide what really happened.”
“Analysis of our aerial footage confirms that there was no direct hit to the hospital itself,” he added, that the only damage was to the carpark and not the hospital.
“The size of damage we see here is due to the warhead of the Islamic Jihad rocket.”
Biden said during a meeting with Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, “I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday.
“And based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you.”
“But there’s a lot of people out there not sure so we have to overcome a lot of things.”
“We have to bear in mind that Hamas does not represent all the Palestinian people and has brought them only suffering,” Biden added.
Biden said that he is “proud” to have visited Israel, adding, “I want to say to the people of Israel – their courage, their commitment and their bravery is stunning.”
