The German Chancellor has said that decisions on Ukraine cannot be made without Kyiv and it cannot be “dictated peace” by Vladimir Putin and his cronies in Ukraine.
Friedrich Merz said with Poland’s leader Donald Tusk in Berlin that the EU must continue to help Ukraine defend themselves against Putin’s brutal aggression.
Merz said they must maintain the friendship with Washington and cooperate with America.
Merz said, “We are doing everything in our power to stand by Kyiv against the Russian aggressor.
He said there it is in Berlin’s interests to maintain a close and “equal” political relations with Poland who are facing a threat from the “revisionist” regime in Moscow, even more so “in these times when the European unity is under such pressure, we must not allow ourselves to be divided.
