Vladimir Putin will continue his war in Ukraine “until he gets what he wants” regardless of Doanld Trump giving him 50 days to come to the negotiating table to end the conflict.

Three sources close to the Kremlin have told Reuters Putin will continue to fight inside Ukraine and deadly bombings across Ukraine will not stop.

The sources said that no amount of pressure from the West will make Putin end the war.

Putin believes that the Russian economy is strong and will survive the US President’s threats of “very severe tariffs.”

“Putin thinks no one has seriously engaged with him on the details of peace in Ukraine – including the Americans – so he will continue until he gets what he wants,” a source told Reuters.

Speaking from the White House on Monday afternoon the US President said, “We’re going to be doing secondary tariffs.

“If we don’t have a deal in 50 days, it’s very simple, and they’ll be at 100%.

“And that’s the way it is.. it’s just the way it is. I hope we don’t have to do it.”

Trump said speaking from the Oval Office, that he will be sending “top of the line weapons” to NATO to then head on to Ukraine.

“Putin values the relationship with Trump and had good discussions with Witkoff, but the interests of Russia come above all else,” the person added to Reuters.

On the battlefield Russia has the upper hand and the Russian economy is tailored for war and they are producing more munitions than all of NATO, two of the sources told Reuters.

Frustration in Washington is reaching boiling point as the US President has hit out at Putin for “talking nice then bombs everybody.”

Speaking on Air Force One Donald Trump who has made every effort to help bring peace to the negotiating table has said there is “a problem.”

Trump told reporters, “Putin really surprised a lot of people, he talks nice and then he bombs everybody in the evening. So there’s a little bit of a problem there. I don’t like it.”

He added, “We basically are going to send them Ukraine various pieces of very sophisticated military.”

Trump is mulling over the idea of sending the American JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) to Ukraine, Military Watch Magazine reported.

The Military Watch Magazine revealed an unnamed source close to Trump made the claim and rumours have been circling.
