In 1867 Alaska used to belong to Russia and now Vladimir Putin and his allies wants this land t be Russian territory after it was “illegally” sold to the US.
An ally of Putin is demanding that, Moldova, the Baltics, Poland and Finland should all be “returned to the Russian Empire,” Vladimir Solovyov said on national state TV.
Anton Gerashchenko, a former adviser to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, warned on X, “According to propagandist Solovyov, Finland, Warsaw, the Baltics, Moldova, and even Alaska should be ‘returned to the Russian Empire.’
“They won’t stop at Ukraine. The Russian imperialists are insatiable.”
